What AutoSavant is

AutoSavant helps you figure out which vehicles actually fit your life. You answer questions about your needs, habits, and budget; we use AI — Google’s Gemini models, grounded with current web data — to build a personalized shortlist of options, with explanations and cited sources.

What AutoSavant is not

• We are not a dealership, broker, lender, insurer, or vehicle-inspection service.
• We do not sell vehicles, arrange financing, or accept payment from dealers or manufacturers for placement. Your shortlist is not advertising.
• Our output is information to support your own decision — it is not professional, financial, legal, or mechanical advice.

AI-generated content

Shortlists are generated by AI from your answers and current market data. AI can be wrong: prices, specs, availability, and incentives change, and models make mistakes. Verify details independently — with the manufacturer, the seller, and your own inspection and test drive — before making any purchase decision. Specific disclaimers also appear inside the app where they matter; those notices apply in addition to these terms.

Your account

• Keep your account information accurate. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time: privacy@autosavant.ai.
• We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.

Acceptable use

• Use AutoSavant for personal, non-commercial vehicle shopping.
• Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the service, and do not access it with bots or automation.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits (we enforce them with hashed device and network signals, described in the Privacy Policy).
• Do not probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful.

Free use and limits

The free tier has daily limits so it stays available to everyone. Limits and tiers may change while we are in beta, and we may modify or discontinue features during beta.

Your content

The answers, notes, and feedback you submit are yours. You give us permission to process them — including through the providers named in our Privacy Policy — to operate the service, and to use feedback to improve the product. We do not publish your inputs.

Our content

The AutoSavant name, design, and site content belong to us. Your shortlist is for your personal use — share it with the people you’re shopping with; don’t resell or republish it as a dataset.

Features we’re building (not active yet)

The following terms apply if and when these features ship. Nothing in this section means they are available today.

• Listing analysis. If you submit a vehicle listing URL, VIN, or pasted listing text: you confirm you have the right to share it with us. We retrieve listing data only from licensed data providers or public sources, respecting source-site rules, and we record where data came from. Analysis is informational only — it is not a vehicle inspection, a condition guarantee, or a substitute for either.
• Buyer Pass (paid). If we offer a paid pass: pricing, duration, and what’s included will be presented at purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Access is tied to your email address. Any refund terms will be stated at purchase.

Beta status, warranties, and liability

AutoSavant is in beta and provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (for free use, that is $0). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date and version at the top will change, and material changes will be called out on this page. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
